Child Abuse and Neglect, child sexual abuse prevention training for Pastors, Ministers and Deacons of the Apostolic Assembly

Thank you for your commitment to taking Darkness to Light’s Recognizing & Responding to Child Abuse and Neglect online child sexual abuse prevention training.

Attached you will find instructions on how to access your unique login page and create a user account, and how to take the online training.

The training is one hour and contains a mix of survivor stories, expert advice, and practical guidance for the prevention of child abuse.  Child abuse is a tough topic.  Some of the survivor stories may affect you in a personal way.  These stories reflect the personal experiences of actual survivors.  These are the experiences children face when they are abused, thus Darkness to Light chooses to include them.

There is a National Resource Sheet available in the resource section of the course with names and numbers of agencies that can help.  Someone is available for you to talk to about any needs you have through the Darkness to the Light helpline at 1-866-FOR-LIGHT (1-866-367-5444).

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John, 3:16

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John, 13:34-35

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be Baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts, 2:38
