PASTOR ISMAEL MARTÍN DEL CAMPO III

THE RETURN TO ANAHEIM

The 2023 Ministerial Convention and National Youth Conference was a call to all its attendees and to the whole of the Apostolic Assembly to unite around a shared vision of building the church.

The pastors first had their legislative meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday, where a spirit of unity and focus was evident throughout the proceeding. Our First Lady Rose Salazar hosted and organized impactful conferences for the pastors’ wives on Wednesday, reaching both English and Spanish. All the pastors and their wives were president and heard the Presidential Message on Wednesday night: Bishop President Felipe A. Salazar cast a clear vision of prioritizing the local church in the Assembly’s programs and events to achieve exponential growth. On Wednesday night new Junior directors were sworn in by Bishop Vice President Joseph Rodriguez: Elder Ben Lopez, Minister Jorge Zamora, and Minister Don Wagner. Also serving on this committee were the wives of these ministers: Sister Iris Lopez, Sister Aileen Zamora, and Sister Rosanna Wagner.

Pastors and their wives and the youth of our church were spiritually nourished as they attended conferences and panels Thursday through Saturday. Tickets for the evening services were sold out by Tuesday, and on Thursday the Apostolic Assembly returned to the Anaheim Arena to lift up the Name of Jesus! The night speakers were: Minister Judah Montenegro, Bishop Secretary Samuel Rojas, National Youth Secretary Alex Cordoba, Bishop Vice President Joseph Rodriguez, National Youth President Oswaldo Moreno, and Bishop President Felipe A. Salazar.

Each speaker brought a powerful and prophetic word to the Assembly during the evening services. On Friday morning the Messengers of Peace gathered for a celebration wherein they had several former Messengers of Peace Presidents for a timely discussion on leadership and education, among the former presidents were Minister Gaddi Vasquez, Brother Rod Garcia, Bishop Victor Prado, Pastor Johnny Vasquez, Bishop Frank Balboa, Pastor Anthony Romo, Pastor Omar Cortez, and Pastor Jacob Rodriguez. At the Saturday morning celebration pastors Oswaldo Moreno and Alex Cordoba were joined for a panel discussion by their counterparts in the National Ladies and Men ministries: Pastor Michael Garcia, Minister Saul Leyva, Sister Georgia Vasquez, and Sister Ruth Olvera-Crutchfield. All the attendees were blessed by this event and this powerful show of unity.

Pastor Oswaldo Moreno kicked off Saturday night with a call to build the church. The President’s message on Saturday night was the capstone to a week of BUILDING TOGETHER: He called every young man, every young lady, every sister, and every brother to involve themselves in the work of Evangelism and Discipleship through small groups. The Holy Spirit electrified the arena, as the Lord confirmed the Word through signs and impartation. Finally, President Salazar announced the 2024 theme – Build the Church, Mission: The Holy Spirit! Let us unite this year around the Lord’s Great Commission and the Bishop President’s theme: Making Disciples and Baptizing people in Jesus Name!

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be Baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts, 2:38

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
