Dr. Oswaldo Moreno
Youth President

Dr. Oswaldo Moreno is a fourth-generation Apostolic. Throughout his life, he is devoted to drawing awareness to the intersection of ministry and higher education. He currently is a church planter at Anchor VA in Virginia as he works with college-age students as a university professor, clinician, and scholar.

Dr. Moreno holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in theological studies from Harvard University, a second master’s in clinical psychology, as well as a doctorate degree (PH.D.) in clinical psychology. Dr. Moreno also received clinical and applied training at Clark University, the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Harvard Medical School, and Boston University School of Medicine. Finally, he completed his post-doctoral training at Brown University School of Public Health.

While pursuing higher education, Dr. Moreno served as the local youth president, worship leader, Sunday school teacher, the local church secretary, assistant pastor, and District President of the Northeast Messengers of Peace. Before serving as President of the National Messengers of Peace, Dr. Moreno served as the Secretary for the National Messengers of Peace from 2020-2022 and the Treasurer of the National Messengers of Peace from 2016-2020.

His ministerial philosophy has been to equip the next generation to reach their God-given potential that expands the Kingdom together. It is through his willingness to serve that God has allowed him to work in different areas of ministry.

Dr. Moreno is married to Luisana Moreno since 2012. Together, they are happily raising their children, Faith, Joy, and Zion.
