Georgia E. Vásquez
Women’s President

Sis. Georgia E. Vasquez was baptized in Jesus’ name at the tender age of 10 in Earlimart, California by Pastor Florencio Aguilar. Her parents relocated the family from California to Texas where she met the love of her life. Sis. Vasquez has been happily married for almost 39 years to Joe M. Vasquez, a great man of God who has been pastoring at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle (AFT) which is the 1st Church of Chicago, IL for 15 years. Before the 1st. Church, they pastored the 4th Church of Chicago for 6 years.

God blessed sister and Pastor Vasquez with precious 4 children. Joseph is a university student who loves sports and is a musician at AFT. The middle children, Yvonne and Yvette are twins who exercise their ministry at AFT while professionally, Yvonne is an attorney and Yvette, a has a background in education. Priscilla, the eldest is a psychologist married to brother Miguel F. Sanchez. They have two beautiful children, Ethan and Liam who bring so much joy and happiness to the family.

Sister Vasquez has served as local President of the ladies’ department and in the Midwest District as Federation President. She also served as the International Apostolic Bible College coordinator where she continues to teach. Sis. Vasquez has served as National Dorcas Treasurer and currently, is the National President for the Ladies’ Confederation, by the grace of God.

Goals & Joys
Sister Vasquez enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids. She loves reading, reflecting and learning new things. She also enjoys socializing with the AFT ladies and with pastors’ wives and enjoys participating in her local church praise team.

Her desire is to continue to serve God alongside her family, and that in the process, model God’s love with one another and guide others to Christ. At the same time, her goal is to help federation leaders develop the full potential God has given them.
